Last November, for the first time in over 10 years, I went to the dentist. Not going had finally caught up to me and I had my first ever cavities. Finally last week I got one filled on the right bottom side of my mouth, and then today I got the other side done. Not bad, really. I managed to make it 29 years without having a filling, and if I had been going to the dentist all these years sealant would have been enough to keep cavities at bay. D'oh, oh well.
Also not awesome: unknowingly chomping down on the numb side of your mouth and not realizing it until you notice your toast tastes like blood.
Here's to 29 more years of no cavities! (maybe?)
